Indian expat wins Audi at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Surprise Draw

Dubai Duty Free’s 2018 Tennis Championship winner Roberto Bautista Agut drew the winning ticket for an Audi Q7 accompanied by Ramesh Cidambi, COO, Dubai Duty Free, Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President – Marketing, along with K. Rajaram, Chief Executive Officer of Al Nabooda Automobiles, and Enrico Atanasio, Brand Director, Audi Middle East

An Indian expat’s dream of owning a new car came true when he won a silver Audi Q7 3.0 in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Surprise Draw after the men’s final award ceremony.

Mr. Abdul Gafoor Kunnathakath’s winning ticket was drawn by the Spanish player and champion of the tournament, Roberto Bautista Agut, who claimed his first Dubai title.

Mr. Kunnathakath, a 51-year-old Indian national based in Dubai, is a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise and Millennium Millionaire promotions and purchased his ticket online.

He enthused: “This is such a great surprise, I can’t believe I’ve won this fantastic car – it was the best news I’ve had in a long time. Thank you so much, Dubai Duty Free.”

Roberto Bautista Agut was accompanied by Dubai Duty Free’s Chief Operating Officer Ramesh Cidambi; Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President – Marketing, Dubai Duty Free; K. Rajaram, CEO, Al Nabooda Automobiles; and Enrico Atanasio, Brand Director, Audi Middle East.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Surprise promotion was held throughout the event, running from February 19 to March 3.
