Dubai International (DXB), the world’s busiest airport for international passengers, was named Middle East’s Leading Airport at the World Travel Awards Middle East 2018 – for the 20th year running.

Anita Mehra, Senior Vice President Communication and Reputation, received the award from Graham Cooke, President and Founder of the prestigious awards.

The airport beat tough competition from seven others in the region.

On collecting the award, Mehra said: “This is a great accolade to be awarded by the World Travel Awards team and all of the industry colleagues who voted. We are delighted to have been named Middle East’s Leading Airport for the past 20 years as it highlights our dedication to our product and service, and the customer experience.”

Dubai Airports operates Dubai International and Dubai World Central.
