Iraqi Airways to launch onboard duty free service for international flights
Iraqi Airways has announced that it intends to launch an onboard duty free service for international flights.
The carrier’s General Manager Miran Fred said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency that the company had signed a contract with a group of companies (AMH Consumer) to provide an onboard duty free service for international flights.
“This service will be free of charge, providing the best services for travelers,” Fred was quoted as saying.
The new program will allow travelers to buy products during the flight. The products are set to be regionally competitive, he added.
Fred explained that the services provided by the companies would enhance the entertainment services for travelers, especially on long haul flights.
