Namasté from Rituals

By Jas Ryat

Rituals has unveiled its new natural skincare range: The Ritual of Namasté. The collection comprises advanced skincare that has been developed to unveil the skin’s radiance, using natural ingredients or naturally-derived ingredients which have been responsibly sourced.

The greeting Namasté means “my soul honors your soul”, a meaning that runs parallel with the collection’s message of showing respect for both nature and your skin, resulting in a beautiful complexion, the company said.

Supporting sustainability

The Ritual of Namasté starts with the Glow collection, which consists of anti-ageing skin formulas, specially developed to fight the first signs of ageing. It helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and restores radiance. The formulas are enriched with saffron flower and lotus, a unique combination that helps to regenerate the skin, leaving it bright and radiant. It is developed for people between 30 and 45 years old.

The Purifying collection cleans the skin. Purify was designed to help achieve the cleanest skin possible, according to the brand. Using natural ingredients such as moringa and lotus, it is suitable for all skin types. The combination of these ingredients helps to purify and cleanse the skin, fighting daily against pollutants and creating a refreshed complexion.

The Hydrate collection is meant to hydrate for healthy skin. Hydrate was created to maintain the natural moisture of younger skin, between the ages of 18 and 30. The products contain an active complex with hyaluronic acid and Indian rose, which helps to restore the skin’s moisture balance for intensely hydrated, supple skin. Natural plant-based antioxidants help to protect the skin from negative external influences.

The Sensitive collection helps to calm and balance skin with natural ingredients such as white water lily and lotus. It is both alcohol and fragrance-free, and has been dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.

Rounding off the range is the Ageless collection, which was designed for mature skin (45+ years old), containing formulas which firm and lift the skin. Enriched with gotu kola and lotus, the products help to diminish visible signs of ageing, bringing more firmness to the skin and leaving a smoother complexion.

The Ritual of Namasté collection supports sustainability with refill systems for day and night creams. The sustainable refill solution is described as chic, eco-friendly and offers better value for money. By supporting this eco-chic refill concept, users are helping to reduce their carbon footprint, which means less landfill and more care for the environment, Rituals said. By using the refill packaging instead of normal packaging for one year, users will save 70% carbon dioxide and 65% energy. In addition, there will be 70% less water usage.
