Attenza Duty Free wins four multi-brand electronic store concessions at Tocumen

Through its Attenza Duty Free Brand, Motta Intenacional will manage 1,452 square meters of space in T2

Through its Attenza Duty Free brand, Motta Internacional has won a consumer electronics concession for T1 and T2 at Tocumen International Airport in Panama.

In line with its strategy to further expand its presence in the regional travel retail business, Motta Internacional’s Attenza Duty Free brand won a public bid for a 10-year contract with Tocumen International Airport to operate consumer electronics multi-brand stores.

With this new contract, Attenza Duty Free will add 554 square meters of retail space, supporting the further expansion of the Panamanian airport. Two of the new spaces will be in the actual T1 and are expected to be opened by the end of 2018. The other two spaces will be located in the new T2.

The new terminal which is scheduled to open in 2019, will allow Tocumen International Airport to handle 25 million passengers a year.
