The Dalmore 45 is described by Master Distiller Richard Paterson as 'flawless perfection"

The Dalmore brings travelers new single malt, The Dalmore 45.

Hand crafted by Master Distiller Richard Paterson, The Dalmore 45 utilizes the distillery’s rarest aged liquids to create what Richard himself has described as ‘flawless perfection’.

Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the liquid has then been transferred into two different Vintage Graham’s Port Colheita pipes dating from 1961 and 1963 to create layers of flavor, which are described as indulgent, smooth and complex.

For its final flourish the whisky was then combined together in first fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks providing The Dalmore 45 with premium finish.

Retained at 40% ABV, The Dalmore 45 features flavors of red berries, soft liquorice, crushed hazelnuts, bitter chocolate and Manuka honey. This is followed by the sweet flavors of sticky toffee pudding, Bramley apples and juicy dates to finish.

On the nose, it boasts aromas including Molasses, toffee, treacle cake, Sanguinello blood oranges, almond and Java cake.

Richard Paterson commented: “By personally selecting the very finest American white oak ex-bourbon casks and Port Colheita Pipes from 1961 and 1963, I have been able to create a truly unique expression which is indulgent and smooth with a vibrant and lively flavor profile. It takes time, dedication and passion to create an expression like The Dalmore 45 and age has gracefully matured this distinguished spirit to make it one of The Dalmore’s greatest aged spirits. This is a very special whisky, which I would describe as flawless perfection.”

The Dalmore 45 is presented in a bottle designed by artisans at renowned French crystal house Baccarat, the hand-blown decanters are adorned with The Dalmore’s iconic 12 point Royal Stag emblem produced by Royal Warrant Holders Hamilton & Inches. This Royal Stag is a symbol of the brand’s promise to remain at the pinnacle of single malt.

Only 500 bottles of The Dalmore 45 will be released globally this year.Price available upon request.
