Essential Communications expands team with the addition of Rebecca Mann


 Rebecca Mann joins growing Essential Communications team
Essential Communications announced Rebecca Mann will be joining the team on a part-time basis from October 2017. Rebecca will be handling new business accounts and assisting in developing the company’s social media and digital strategy.
Rebecca is well known to many in the industry, having worked in the travel retail arena for over years 20 as a writer, commentator, editor and blogger. She began her career as Fragrances & Cosmetics Editor at Duty-Free News International in 1996, rising to the role of Managing Editor. She joined The Moodie Report as Associate Editor in 2003, before being named Executive Director – Editorial in 2013. Rebecca left the company in 2015, to work within the B2C sector.
She was appointed Marketing Creative Copywriter at Courthouse Clinics, where she now works in a freelance role. She is a consultant for leading luxury interiors agency Homestyle PR, and oversees all social media for Central School of Dance & Drama.
“I’ve known Rebecca for many years and am certain she will be a great asset to the EC team,” says EC Managing Director Row Holland. “We’re expanding our remit to offer a wider range of marketing services to the travel retail industry and Rebecca’s experience, knowledge and contacts will certainly help us to achieve this.”
As part of EC’s long term expansion strategy, Tilly Holland will now divide her time between Essential Communications and her other role as Marketing Coordinator with retail giant Hammerson. "Tilly's new position will give her extremely valuable retail and brand marketing experience in the wider High Street environment which she will be able to bring into the EC offer for existing and new clients enabling us to create a more rounded, 360 deg offer,” adds Row Holland.
Rebecca will be in Cannes during TFWA World Exhibition, along with the EC team: Row Holland, Tilly Holland, Ben Holland and Jayne Cooper.
