Furla has announced a significantly expanded agreement with Harding Brothers, which sees the number of ships listing the brand increasing from 10 to 16.
Effective July, the Furla Autumn/Winter collection will be listed onboard the luxury Crystal Symphony, Regent ships Voyager, Navigator and Mariner, and Oceania ships Marina and Riviera.
“We are delighted to have secured this additional business with Harding Brothers, which undoubtedly operates some of the most luxurious and premium quality cruise ship shops in international waters today,” says Gerry Munday, Furla’s Head of Travel Retail. “The passenger demographic is perfect for the Furla brand and we’re confident that our Autumn/Winter collection will have great sell-out onboard.”
Concurrently with Furla’s first-ever appearance at TFWA Asia Pacific and GATE ONE2ONE, Munday also revealed that plans are on schedule for the brand to open in Cairns International Airport with James Richardson at the end of May.
“We’ve also recently opened a new 20 square meter area at Sharjah with Dufry, which has got off to an extremely successful start,” says Munday. “And I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve secured a 7.5 square meter personalized corner in Japan at Narita T1 South with DFS which opens this summer.”
At the Singapore show Furla will be exhibiting its Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, and will use the event to launch its first exclusive inflight collection.
