Swiss chocolatier Lindt has made structural changes within its sales organisation to strengthen the presence of Lindt Travel Retail in North America.

Mohammed Aldahabi was appointed in February to the new role of Sales Manager Travel Retail North America. Aldahabi has been with Lindt since 2009, when he joined the company as Sales Manager for Travel Retail Middle East.

Based in Miami, he will oversee the travel retail business in North America.

Aldahabi reports to Markus Suter, who is responsible for Lindt’s travel retail business throughout the Americas.

In his new role, Aldahabi will be responsible for strengthening the premium travel retail presence of Lindt in North America, “ensuring the perfect execution of all Lindt-related POS merchandise, developing and maintaining an excellent customer relationship on all levels and working out customer development plans”, the company said. Aldahabi can be contacted at maldahabi@lindt.com.

In addition, with a view to strengthening the key management for travel retail global accounts, and following the recent consolidations across the travel retail sector, the company is also building a new global account management team.

Nadia Gaille has been promoted to Head of Global Key Accounts. Gaille has been working with Lindt since 2009 as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager Travel Retail in Europe, and has made a significant contribution to the development of Lindt’s travel retail business, the firm said.

In her new role, Gaille will be leading the European sales account team and at the same time will lead the coordination of the regions for global key accounts.
