Hawaiian Host is exhibiting its latest confectionery treats at the upcoming IAADFS fair (Chase International booth: 1111).
New to the portfolio is the AlohaMacs Milk 1-Piece Changemaker, which holds 75 individually wrapped pieces of chocolate-covered macadamia nuts made with milk chocolate and premium slow-roasted macadamias. The Changemaker was developed for on-the-go and impulse snacking.
Hawaiian Host favorites, Maui Caramacs and MacNut Crunch, are now available in king-sized four-piece bars for snacking, along with an appropriate counter unit which holds 36 bars. Maui Caramacs are delicate dry roasted macadamias smothered in soft caramel and covered in milk chocolate. MacNut Crunch contains crunchy rice crisps mixed with dry roasted macadamia nuts and milk chocolate.
Also on display will be Mauna Loa’s premium macadamia nuts, available in three flavors: Dry Roasted with Sea Salt, Maui Onion & Garlic, and Mango Chipotle. The resealable 5oz bags are designed for easy snacking and sharing, and they are also Kosher-certified and gluten-free.
“Premium chocolate continues to be one of the fastest-growing consumer segments in stores today,” said Stanley Larson, Commercial Director, Hawaiian Host Inc. “At the [IAADFS] duty free show this year, we are sharing new flavors and packaging that meet the needs of global travelers who are seeking not just indulgent snacking options for themselves but also products they are proud to share with friends and family.”
