Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR) announced that Corrado Castrovillari, will take over from Catherine Saurais as General Manager effective April 1, 2010. 
 
Corrado currently heads up the total confectionery business at Nestlé Russia. Corrado began his career with Nestlé in August 1988, following the acquisition of Perugina spa in Italy, holding various marketing positions. In 1992, he moved to the Czech Republic as Marketing Director for Cokoladovny (part of Nestlé ), subsequently joining the Confectionery Strategic Business Unit with responsibility for Central and Eastern Europe, then moving on to Nestlé Poland as head of the Confectionery Division.
 
During his career, Corrado has acquired a deep and extensive knowledge of the international confectionery business, particularly within Europe, which will be indispensable in taking NITR’s category leading approach to another level.
 
Saurais, General Manager of Nestlé International Travel Retail since May 2006, has been appointed Business Executive Manager of the confectionery unit at Nestlé Suisse where she will take control of Cailler, alongside other Nestlé brands. Saurais said: “I will be extremely sad to leave the travel retail industry having made so many friends within the business over the past four years. I would like to thank all my colleagues for making my time in travel retail such an enjoyable and worthwhile experience and to say that I will miss you all. I know, however, that Corrado will do a fantastic job at NITR and carry on the good work.”
