Doha Bank’s Dream Card holders based in Doha are set to reap even more rewards this summer as Qatar Duty Free has now teamed up with the bank for an exclusive two-month promotion wherein QR40,000 (US$11,000) worth of shopping vouchers will be given away as prizes.

Eight cardholders who shop at Qatar Duty Free during July and August stand to win QR5,000 (US$1,370) worth of shopping vouchers. At the end of each month four winners will be picked in a draw. For Dream Card holders, the above incentives will be in addition to the 25% cash back they will get from shopping at Qatar Duty Free. This latest offering is part of the unprecedented 25% cash back reward promotion launched by Doha Bank on June 1, 2010.

“We are happy to team up with Doha Bank in offering its customers an exclusive promotion which no other duty free is offering, in addition to the cash back,” says Keith Hunter, Senior Vice President, Qatar Duty Free. “We have recently added new and exciting brands in the Perfumes, Watches, Fashion and Confectionery categories in addition to the already fast-selling product lines available. Doha Bank Dream Card holders will also be able to take advantage of the cash back offer when they use their credit card to purchase our ever popular Luxury Car and One Million Dollar Cash raffle draws as well.

“We believe that this cash back promotion, in addition to a chance to win QR5000 of Qatar Duty Free shopping vouchers, will be an extremely attractive offer for Dream Card holders,” added Hunter. “We have also added some exciting promotions at Qatar Duty Free on various categories for customers to choose from.”

Qatar Duty Free notes that this reward package is the first of its kind in Qatar—indeed, in the entire region—and is being offered to all potential new Dream, Green and Dream Platinum card members. The cash back will be credited to the card members’ accounts at the end of the promotional period.

Card members will receive a 25% discount on all travel-related purchases—airlines tickets, holiday packages, hotels and motels, car rentals and duty free shops around the world.

All card members, new and existing, who use their Dream Cards during the promotion period will also have the option of being rewarded with an equated 12 monthly installment plan where the value is re-installed again in the customer’s card limit, thus providing the customer with double the spending power this summer. Card members will benefit from extra spending power, a lower interest rate and an extended payment plan.
