Kfouri appointed Chief Operating Officer

Paton’s announced some changes to its management structure which will enhance its performance in the duty free and travel retail sector.

James Kfouri, formerly General Manager Sales & Marketing, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer with overall control of all business leadership functions, marketing, sales and distribution of the Paton’s range of confectionery.

Among his responsibilities will be the strategic expansion of the company in domestic and international markets and the review and development of the entire product portfolio.

This follows the opening of the new Paton’s Asia office in Singapore in June 2010.

On travel retail sales Kfouri will be assisted by Adam Fereday, Business Manager Australia & Pacific Islands, Nick Diacon, Business Manager SE Asia, Jeremy Tan, Business Manager North Asia and Grant Fereday, Business Manager Americas and Europe.

The company, which was acquired by leading book retailer Dymocks in May 2010, has established a fine reputation over the last 30 years for producing high quality chocolate, nut and sugar confectionery for the Australian domestic market and for 80 markets around the world.
