Newslink opens Coco Bay at MIA

NewsLink, operator of newsstands, gift shops and cafés at Miami International Airport (MIA) and other US airports, has opened its second specialty retail store at MIA in as many months. The new store, called Coco Bay, is located in the North Terminal at Concourse D near Gate 40. This new location follows NewsLink’s Grand Opening Ceremony held in December 2009 for its Shop Britto, which offers prints, souvenirs, casual clothes and other collectibles featuring Romero Britto’s artistic creations.

“Coco Bay’s bright colors and sophisticated ambiance convey the chic, fun and excitement associated with a world class resort destination,” says Raymond J. Kayal, Jr., President and CEO of Newslink. “The shop captures the essence of Miami.”

The new store offers travelers a great collection of beach dresses and pants, printed tunics, Kai and Calypso fragrances and an assortment of accessories including jewelry, hats, sunglasses, watches and sandals. Coco Bay’s women’s collection includes Debbie Katz South Beach, Echo Designs, Minnie Rose knits, Cocobelle jewelry, Mystique Sandals, Melissa Shoes, Hat Attack and It’s Great to be Here Ts, while the men’s collection includes an assortment of Tommy Bahama items.

Home accessories available include tropical bottle toppers and turtle cheeseboards from Mudpie, Calypso Candles, Shell Aromatic Diffusers from Zodax and Chic Cocktail Napkins.
